International cooperation in science and technology is not only a need, but a must.
IUSTC has played its important role in promoting global sci-tech exchanges and cooperation,improving the efficiency of sci-tech information communication,and enhancing media influence.
Clarivate has been a member of IUSTC since its establishment in 2018. At Clarivate, our vision is to improve the way the world creates, protects and advances innovation. To achieve this, we deliver critical data, information, workflow solutions and deep domain expertise to innovators everywhere. This is well aligned with the aim of IUSTC, which is to improve the efficiency of communication on science and technology related information.
Good afternoon, colleagues. I am delighted to be joining today's meeting of the International Union for Science and Technology Communication (IUSTC). My name is Vasily Pushkov and I represent the Sputnik International News Agency and Radio.
The development of search engines, social media, digital technology and the popularity of mobile devices have fundamentally changed the pattern of global news distribution. The main media for people to obtain information are newspapers and television, broadcasting. As Internet media has become a PC screen, until today, mobile phone screen has become the largest media. In the future, the Internet of Things?and 5G make everything that can be contacted possible to become a media and a channel for news distribution.
Significant changes are expected internationally, and I believe that cooperation between China and Japan will become more and more important. In the future, mutually beneficial relationships where all parties can learn together are highly anticipated. I would like to continue cooperating with the IUSTC, and to ask for your continued support in the future.
Collaborations among IUSTC members have made a difference in facilitating the communication of international sci-tech information and promoting international sci-tech exchanges and cooperation. Now let me review some of our cooperation:
